Eros: an intoxicated
and undisciplined Desire,
Not an Ascent, but fall!
Must be disciplined,
Must be purified!

Not your fleeting pleasure,
Not a certain foretaste
of your PINNACLE
or that BEATITITUDE
for which my whole being yearns

A new activity must rise,
Charitable and new, as older
bodily forms are infused with
youthful life and new energy.
