Daniel was formerly a proud citizen and defender of the reputation of Atwood, Kansas. No more.
The one-time webmaster of atwoodkansas.com has folded the town's website, said adieu, and left his townsfolk with a request that they ask their God for forgiveness. Read why in this Open Letter to the Citizens of Atwood. Here's a hint: it has to do with anti-gay bigotry, gossip-mongers, and a vote to "protect the sanctity of marriage."
Thanks to Andrew Sullivan for the link.
They took his letter down. (For those just here, he was very active in the community and webmaster, but when they voted against gay rights, he replaced their website with a letter to them about how that hurt REAL people.)
